Question by Rob: what are the best camping spots in southern california?
im looking for places that are relatively green and have lots of trees. (no deserts plz) I would like it if there were as least buildings and stuff as possible. But most importantly it has to be equal to or less than 1 hour away from huntington beach. Please give me input u guys.

I would suggest somewhere in San Diego or up in the mountains above LA.
If it weren’t for the short range i would suggest Bishop or the Mountains of the Serra Nevada. There are many wonderful places up there.
One year while working a construction job near SanBernardino I camped out in a place called Little Creek Canyon. Have to say it was a long time ago.
